Get your first question in your coding agent
Two commands sign you in and connect the MCP server. The first question comes after your coding agent finishes its next task.
What you need
You need Node 24 or later and a free Atomic Reps account. On an older Node, every command prints the version it needs instead of starting. There is nothing to install globally: npx fetches the package when you run it.
Step 1: Sign in
npx atomicrepsThe command prints a code. Type the code at atomicreps.com/connect while you are signed in to your account. To see what would be sent from the repository you are in before you sign in, run npx atomicreps setup first.
Step 2: Connect your coding agent
npx atomicreps connectconnect offers Claude Code, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Copilot CLI, Cursor, Windsurf and Codex. For any other MCP client, it prints the command to add the server by hand. The MCP server is the process your editor starts with npx -y atomicreps mcp. If your agent asks you to approve the server's four tools, approve them once and they stay approved.
Step 3: Finish a task
When your coding agent finishes a task, it calls the server once with a few words for what changed. The server picks one question or nothing, and your agent shows the question to you unchanged. You reply with a letter, A to D, or you ignore it.
A question does not come after every task. The server sets a minimum gap between questions and a daily cap.
If no question comes

What leaves your machine
Catalog topic names with small weights, the package, file extension and folder names the public catalog already knows, your settings when you change them, and the letter you answer with. Never your code, the contents of a file, or your prompts. The Privacy Policy and the security page say what we keep and for how long.
